Author Erol Göka

Erol Göka obtained his medical degree in 1983, and became a psychiatrist in 1989. Some of his numerous books are "Transitions Between Worlds of Thought and Psychiatry", "Psychiatry of Existence", "Historical Psychology". Göka has seats in editorial boards of Türkiye Gündemi and Türkiye Klinikleri journals and advisory boards of many journals in medicine and humanities fields. Erol Göka is currently Professor of Psychiatry at Meram Faculty of Medicine in Necmettin Erbakan University, Konya.

Author Yusuf Şahin

Yusuf Şahin was born in 1971 in Giresun. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences' Department of Public Administration in 1994. Şahin holds a master's degree from METU Institute of Social Sciences and a doctoral degree from Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences. Şahin's research interests include urbanization policies, administrative sciences, Turkish public administration, local administrative units, global warming, and environment. Yusuf Şahin is currently administrator and professor at Aksaray University.

Author Hasan Bacanlı

Hasan Bacanlı graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences' Department of Psychological Services. He completed his master's and doctoral studies in the same department. He worked in Ohio State University as a visiting professor in 1994 for a year. Hasan Bacanlı is currently Professor of Education at Yıldız Technical University in İstanbul. His research areas include thought education, values education, personality, and cultural influences.

Mehmet Ali Dombaycı is a graduate of Gazi University Division of Philosophy Group Education and holds a master's and a doctoral degree from the same department. Mehmet Ali Dombaycı is currently Assistant Professor of Education at Gazi University in Ankara. His research areas include philosophy of education, teaching of philosophy, thought education, values education, philosophy for children and democratic citizenship education.

Author Abdullah Karataş

Abdullah Karatas is the Division Manager of the Investments Division of the Treasury Department for the Islamic Development Bank Group, where he is responsible for managing the liquidity of the Bank. Abdullah Karatas spent twelve years working on Wall Street in New York where he was last Head of U.S. Fixed Income Trading at Natixis. Mr. Karatas also worked at Barclays Capital and, earlier, at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Karatas received his MBA degree from Yale University and his BA degree, summa cum laude, in Economics from Middlebury College. Mr. Karatas is currently a PhD candidate at INCEIF (The Global University for Islamic Finance that was set up by Bank Negara Malaysia, the Malaysian Central Bank).

Author Mustafa Canlı

Mustafa canlı was borned in 1979 in Ankara. Canlı graduated from METU Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2001. Canlı holds two master's degrees from Northeastern University, one from Information Systems in 2004 one from Business Administration in 2005. Mustafa Canlı is currently advisor to the Turkish Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications. His areas of expertise include informatics, telecommunication and e-State. Mustafa Canlı continues his doctoral studies in Hacettepe University Social Sciences Institute's Department of Political Science and Public Administration.

Author Necati Anaz

Necati Anaz graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Sciences' Department of Public Administration in 2000. In 2007 Anaz got his master's degree from University of Wilmington in Business and Public Administration fields. In 2012, Anaz presented his thesis which was named as 'Mapping Geopolitical Imaginations: Turkish Audiences & Valley of the Wolves -Palestine’ in University of Oklahoma Department of Geography and Environmental Sustainability and obtained his doctoral degree. Anaz, who is currently a faculty member of Konya Necmettin Erbakan University Department of International Relations continues his works on fields like political geography, popular geopolitics, and imaginary geography.

Author Evren Çelik Wiltse

Evren Çelik Wiltse is assistant professor of Political Science at South Dakota State University. She holds bachelors and masters degrees from Boğaziçi University (İstanbul). Her masters thesis was titled “State-Business Relations in Turkey in the Post-1980 Era.” Her PhD dissertation, "After the ‘Fog of Reform’: Comparative Democratization in Mexico and Turkey," was presented to the political science faculty at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2010. Evren Çelik Wiltse has published studies of the regulation of headscarf use in public in Turkey and of Mexico’s position vis-à-vis globalization. She has also contributed chapters on US-Latin American relations and on post-2008 Brazilian economy to various publications, and acted as guest editor for Special International Political Economy issue of the academic journal Perceptions.

Cemali Oktay was borned in 1976. Oktay graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences' Department of Finance in 1997. Between 2010 and 2011, Oktay studied "Financing of Small and Medium Scaled Enterprises in the US". Cemali Oktay is currently Chief Tax Inspector in the Group Presidency for Combating Organized Tax Crimes in the Tax Inspection Board of the Ministry of Finance.

Author Osman Öztürk

Osman Öztürk was born in 1975. He graduated from Hacettepe University Department of Economics. In 2012, Öztürk obtained his master's degree in Economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Osman Öztürk is currently Chief Tax Inspector in the Group Presidency for Combating Organized Tax Crimes in the Tax Inspection Board of the Ministry of Finance.

Author B. Senem Çevik

B. Senem Çevik (Assistant Professor, Ankara University) holds a B.A and M.B.A from California State University, San Bernardino, and a PhD in political communication from Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey. She attended the Stanford University Political Psychology Summer Program in 2010. Çevik was a visiting researcher at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy in summer 2013. Her public diplomacy research interests are in identity, cultural, aid diplomacy, branding approaches focusing on Turkish public diplomacy through media exports, humanitarian relief and diaspora diplomacy.

Author Yaşar Salihpaşaoğlu

Yaşar Salihpaşaoğlu was borned in 1975 in Trabzon. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1998. Salihpaşaoğlu obtanied his master's degree in 2000 and doctoral degree in 2007. Salihpaşaoğlu have been in the UK for his post-doctoral studies between 2010 and 2011. Yaşar Salihpaşaoğlu is currently Assistant Professor of General Public Law in in Gazi University.
